This includes all companies in the healthcare industry, hospitals, pharmacies, independent research and diagnostic labs, as well as universities, research institutes, and globally operating pharmaceutical companies.

Within a cluster, the goal is to promote regional cooperation, engage in partnerships, enable contract research, explore shared interests and approaches, and make more efficient use of the locally available know-how.

The Life Science Cluster Management Hennigsdorf is part of the municipal economic development office and supports the numerous companies on site in all these matters.

In addition, it develops event formats for professional exchange, supports local appearances at trade fairs, and positions Hennigsdorf as a future-ready life science location both regionally and beyond.

Since 2023, the responsibilities of Life Science Cluster Management have been carried out by Sylvia Becker.

She is based in the cluster office at KreativWerkR6 and works closely with regional network partners. Her tasks include the conception and implementation of scientific events, supporting national and international guests and business delegations, as well as the presentation of Hennigsdorf as a business location at events and fairs.

Her overall objectives include supporting start-ups in questions of founding and settlement, and integrating existing companies into the activities happening here.

In addition, it is important to us to present and raise awareness with regards to the Oberhavel economic region as a whole, highlighting its diverse location advantages and quality of living.
